My blind playthrough of Final Fantasy IX comes to an end, and I can confidently say this has become one of my favorite Final Fantasy games ever. The final bosses were incredibly difficult and pushed me harder than anything else in the game, but the real emotional weight came from the ending itself—it genuinely broke me in the best way possible. And of course… the chaos didn’t stop there. The game itself started glitching during the final cutscene, playing at 2x speed, which meant I had to rewatch the ending afterward on YouTube to fully experience it properly. This journey has been unforgettable—from hesitation at the start, to completely falling in love with the world, characters, and story of FF9.
