I am an international ornithological judge, consultant, and speaker, and I have been breeding canaries for over 25 years. My passion began early: at just 10 years old, I received my first pair of Belgian canaries as a gift from my father. At 15, I discovered the world of competitions and, since then, I have won over 500 medals, including the title of Brazilian champion in the discipline. In 1979, I became an ornithological judge and, over the years, I have officiated in more than 350 competitions, including the Brazilian Championship and international competitions. One of the most remarkable moments of my career was winning the title in the world's largest canary competition, held in Italy, the "Regio de la Emilia". Furthermore, I was responsible for developing the only canary color recognized outside of Europe and approved by the COM (World Ornithological Confederation): the Brazilian Canary – Urucum Mutation.
