A trip to Noboribetsu Onsen, one of Hokkaido's most famous hot springs. This time, I stayed at Daiichi Takimotokan, a long-established inn closest to Jigokudani (Hell Valley). It boasts a massive 1500-tsubo (approximately 5000 square meter) public bath, five different types of hot spring water, and abundant natural springs. It's said to be one of the most historic inns in Hokkaido and has been certified as a 5-star establishment. Currently, Noboribetsu Onsen sees a large inbound tourism population, to the point where it feels like there are more foreigners than Japanese.
