It's also very important to remember that only property that is directly related in some way to your alleged offense can be seized. A report must be drawn up for the seizure of personal belongings, involving two witnesses or video recording, and all of this must be described in detail in the report (Article 27.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). No unlocking of the phone or viewing of its contents is permitted. A search may only be conducted by an officer of the same sex, in the presence of witnesses of the same sex.
