As Ireland played Italy in the 1994 World Cup, armed gunmen burst into a bar in rural Northern Ireland - shooting six innocent men dead as they watched the game. For decades, the case was left unsolved, despite the fact that the Police had troves of forensic evidence. When journalists Barry McCaffrey and Trevor Birney began investigating, they found evidence that the British state had colluded in the murders. When they released it in their documentary ‘No Stone Unturned’ - they were arrested and had their homes and offices raided by police. This is the story of a fight for press freedom.
