Greenworks 40v Chainsaw Real World Test and Review
In this video, I try cleaning up some storm damage with a battery-powered chainsaw. It is working to cut up the fallen trees, but it isn't as dependable as I thought it would be. The saw keeps cutting itself off after just a short time of using it. I think the thermal overload sensor is way too sensitive and shuts off the motor after only getting a little bit warm. It makes it very annoying to use for any length of time. I plan on bypassing the sensor to get more run time. I will just have to manually monitor temperature and voltage to keep from damaging anything. This will, of course, void any warranty, but the increase in usability will be worth it for me.
