Mweelrea: Incredibly wild County Mayo (hiking guide) 2018

Mweelrea, a peak surrounded by stunning scenery and like something out of a fantasy novel. The landscape is a mountain strewn wonder for mountaineers with so many hidden little gems waiting to be discovered. We took on the mountain coming close to winter and were treated to a majestic natural dance of winter sunlight and shifting clouds. It's Connacht's highest mountain at 814m/2670ft and in my opinion, it's most spectacular. I've added the route we as a hiking guide in the video. So, sit back and I hope you enjoy our climb.
