Camino Francés. Etapa 7. Los Arcos - Logroño. 28,3 km. 20-07-22

Today was a splendid day for walking. The extreme heat gave us a break. The route is flat and along dirt tracks up to Sansol, except for the last kilometer on the road. The scenery changes from Torres del Río to Viana, a real leg-breaker, with its ups and downs. After Viana, the last town in Navarre, the route becomes flat again. We learned that Felisa's daughter passed away last year; two of Luisa's great-granddaughters have taken her place. We stayed at the Pensión Bilbaína, very clean and welcoming, just a few meters from Laurel Street.
