The Salvador Zoo, located in the Ondina neighborhood, was closed for renovations, but after 3 months it reopened and it's beautiful! . I invite you to check out this free and excellent leisure option for the whole family in the capital of Bahia! . The zoo has over 1,000 animals and 56 species of Brazilian flora, which are endangered animals and can no longer live in the wild because they have already suffered some accident! . The space has bathrooms, a picnic area, a museum, and several snack stands! . We loved visiting the new zoo, and without a doubt the cherry on the cake is a huge aviary, where you can enter and have direct contact with several trees! So, let's go?
