How to Whitewash with Chalk Paint // Furniture Flip // Dresser Makeover // Raw Wood Look

How to whitewash furniture using chalk paint and how to get the bleached wood look without the bleach. We acquired this dresser for free from a family member that was moving. It had an old layer of black paint that was scratched and peeling. We removed all the paint and original finish to get the piece down to bare wood. Using Dixie Belle paint we created a whitewash giving the dresser that faux bleached look that is so popular. We also made a new base with zero cost and made our own drawer slides to repair the broken ones. With new hardware, this dresser looks like a completely different piece.
