Trains at Canonbury (30th April 2024)

It’s Tuesday the 30th of April and I’m at Canonbury, served by London Overground with the East and North London line. Canonbury sees frequent and intensive service, serving destinations across the London Overground network. The station is located 43 Chains (865 Metres) from Highbury & Islington. With upgrade works taking place during the 2000s in preparation for London Overground, The North London Line would see new platforms built with the electrification (to 25KV AC OHLE) of the existing freight line. Canonbury would regain its Island platform with the East London taking over the former North London line platforms which were already electrified with 750 V DC 3rd rail. East London line services would begin serving Canonbury in 2010.
