🌧️ CICLON Genevieve Se Va, Pero viene Algo Más PELIGROSO para MEXICO! (Alerta Sonora)

Today, the Mexican monsoon over northwestern Mexico, combined with atmospheric instability and low-pressure troughs over the interior of the country, will produce isolated intense rainfall in northern and central Sonora; very heavy isolated rainfall in southern Sinaloa, western Chihuahua, and western and southern Durango; and periods of showers in Baja California and Baja California Sur. Meanwhile, the advance of Tropical Wave No. 21 over southern Mexico, interacting with cyclonic circulations and troughs at mid and upper levels of the atmosphere over western Central Plateau, and the influx of moist air from the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and Pacific Ocean, will generate isolated intense rainfall in western Oaxaca and central, western, and southern Chiapas; very heavy isolated rainfall in northern Nayarit, western Jalisco, Colima, eastern Guerrero, southwestern Puebla, and southern Veracruz; Scattered heavy downpours are expected in Michoacán (north and east), the State of Mexico (southwest), Morelos, Tabasco (south), Campeche (southwest), Yucatán (east), and Quintana Roo (north); and showers with periods of heavy rain are expected in Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, and Mexico City. These rains could be accompanied by hail in western and central Mexico. Isolated showers are also forecast for parts of Coahuila, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, and Tamaulipas. Meanwhile, the circulation of Hurricane Genevieve in the Pacific Ocean will increase the likelihood of showers in Baja California Sur. Additionally, a high-pressure system in the mid-levels of the atmosphere will maintain hot to very hot afternoon conditions in northern Mexico, and extremely hot conditions with a persistent heat wave in northeastern Baja California.
