First Look: Pro Fisher 25 – Aluminium Fishing Boat Powered by 300hp Suzuki! We took the brand-new Pro Fisher 25 out for its first run on UK waters, and we were seriously impressed. Built with solid aluminium construction and finished to a high spec, this fast fishing weekender offers loads of space and clever features that really stand out. There was plenty of room for four people to fish comfortably. We had three onboard and still had loads of space to move around. It didn’t just come with one bait tank – it had two – and the access to batteries, electrics, and any future upgrades was brilliantly laid out. It’s clear this boat has been well thought through with anglers in mind. The transom area stood out too – sturdy handrails and drop-down ladders made it ideal for diving or swimming. Inside, we found useful cubby storage, pull-out seating, and a pop-up table. You could easily sleep two onboard. A fridge would be a great addition, but that’s an optional extra. The ride was surprisingly quiet for an aluminium hull. We fished over some lumpy banks, and she handled it just as well as any fibreglass boat we’ve tested. The Zipwake trim system was constantly working in the background, keeping everything level – they’re a real game-changer. She also comes with a 250-litre built-in fuel tank, accessed through a sealed deck hatch. You’ve got easy bilge access via the rear hatch, and great access to the chain locker up front. This model didn’t have a toilet, but there’s space to fit one if needed. And let’s not forget the engine.
