Freewing 90mm EDF F-18 - Painting the CF-18 "Canada 150" 2017 Demonstration Jet - Paint And Vinyl

Showing the painting and vinyl decal application process of the Royal Canadian Air Force "Canada 150" CF-18 Demonstration Hornet. This remote control electric ducted fan model is the 90mm EDF Freewing F /A-18C available from Motionrc.com. A mixture of rattle can Rustoleum and airbrush was used for the paint job. The brown airbrush color used was "burnt umber" by Apple Barrell Acrylics, thinned with Createx reducer by 20%. Yellow frog tape was used for masking. Two final coats of Krylon acrylic gloss clear coat was applied to recreate the gloss of the full scale. The power setup installed is the stock Freewing 8S 90mm EDF setup with 150 amp ESC.
