NC Overlanding - Re-Visiting the GOAT Trail One Year Later
We returned to the GOAT Trail (Old Buzzards Roost) one year later for some more overlanding. The trail was a little more rutted out than last time, but remains a non technical but fun off-roading experience for most 4x4s. There are a ton of side trails to explore in this area as well, and many more off road opportunities nearby including Hurricane Creek, Shad Road and Max Patch.
