ATPL RNAV #622616, VOR, QDR, variation, conversion angle
In this video I talk about VOR in Radionavigation and the conversion between true direction and magnetic direction, as well as the application of the conversion angle as seen in General Navigation. Radials are magnetic directions and in the case of a VOR, the magnetic variation has to be taken at the station. Plus, Radials are great circles so in theory we should apply the conversion angle to determine them. I decipher the steps in the video. Enjoy!
