How to develop latent fingerprints with a West Technology's forensic VMD560 system
Vacuum Metal Deposition, otherwise known as VMD, is the deposition of very thin layers of metals onto an exhibit surface in a vacuum chamber to visualise latent fingerprints. It is a very powerful technique for developing latent fingerprints on non-porous, semi-porous and even some porous exhibits. In this video, Anita demonstrates how easy it is to use our popular VMD560 system by carrying out a gold/zinc development on a satin fabric sample. Our VMD fingerprinting systems are available worldwide! For more information, please visit our website: https://www.west-technology.co.uk/for...
