East Kilbride - Town of Tomorrow
Released in 1954 this is the oldest of four films restored from the South Lanarkshire Council Archive that were produced for the East Kilbride Development Corporation to show the development of the new town and promote it as a place to live and do business. Includes footage of East Kilbride Village, Rolls Royce factory opening and Development Corporation planners at work
