Como usar "THERE WAS" y "THERE WERE" en inglés: cómo decir "había"

En inglés, hay dos maneras de decir "había". Cuando se trata de algo singular, se dice "there was", y cuando se trata de algo plural, se dice "there were". Para negar, simplemente se coloca "not" después de "was" y "were" (there was not, there were not). También se pueden usar las contracciones "wasn't" y "weren't" (there wasn't, there weren't). Para hacer preguntas, se voltea el orden. En lugar de decir "there was" y "there were", se dice "was there" y "were there". Para hacer preguntas negativas, se dice "wasn't there" y "weren't there".
