After a long day working as an Uber driver in Rio de Janeiro, I was getting close to home when two guys on a motorcycle tried to rob me. In desperation, I accelerated to escape… but I ended up being cut off further ahead and crashed into another car. I managed to get out of the situation and get home, but the problem was only beginning. Days later I contacted the rental company, the car was towed, and then came the most stressful part: the costs, the billing, and the whole process after the accident.
