Welcome Welcome, and thank you for taking a few minutes to visit my new channel. Several weeks ago, I lost the love of my life and my traveling partner after nearly twelve years of caring for her as her health gradually declined. We had been married for twenty-five wonderful years, and although my heart is broken, I know she would want me to continue living life to its fullest. After this brief introduction, you'll see a short video from my trip to her beautiful homeland of Croatia, where I proposed to her. I thought it would be a warm way to introduce both of us before I begin my very first steps into the world of YouTube. Like so many couples, we spent years dreaming about the places we would visit after retirement. We talked about the adventures ahead and imagined the memories we would create together. Sadly, as her health continued to decline, those dreams slowly slipped away. This channel is my way of honoring those dreams. Although Vlasta can no longer travel beside me, I believe she would want me to keep exploring, meeting wonderful people, and appreciating the beauty that still exists in this world. Every mile I travel carries a little piece of her with me. With my faithful little companion, Corky, I'll be setting out to visit places we've never seen, meet interesting people, and discover the adventures waiting just beyond the next bend in the road. These are journeys Vlasta and I once hoped to take together, and now I hope you'll come along with me. I also want to thank a YouTube creator whose quiet travel videos encouraged me during one of the most difficult times of my life.
