Infiniti EX35 Sunroof Water leak cabin issue (Clogged Drain)- Viewer Request #sunroofleak #ex35

Helping our a viewer on troubleshooting an interior cabin water leak. Most likely, the sunroof drain end is clogged up, causing the sunroof to spill over to the interior of the vehicle. In our case, the sunroof drain hose detached from the sunroof drain as well due to being clogged. This is a common issue across most Nissan and Infiniti Models, EX35, EX37, G37 as the all share the same drainage system. Our solution was to snip out the center shield at the end of the sunroof drain to allow water to flow freely through the hose without impediments. If you do not want to snip out the center shield of the drain end hose, you can routinely clean out the sunroof drain with soapy water, and a weed whacker string, passing it through the drain hose. Variants of this procedure is available online, but that is the general idea. We hope the suggested solution, as well as our solution helps others prevent interior cabin water leak in their vehicle.
