Aida Nour Hayart Albi عايدة نور- رقص شرقي

Aida Nour was a contemporary of Dina and Lucy during the 1980's - 2000's in Cairo. She began dancing at 14 in her hometown of Alexandria with a local folkloric troupe. Several years later she was accepted into Mahmoud Reda's troupe and moved to Cairo. In 1981 (the year Sadat was assassinated) she switched to a solo career, about the same time Dina left the National Kawmiya Troupe and struck out on her own as well. Since then Aida has performed and taught belly dance around the world, particularly at Egypt's large dance conventions. She also designed costumes.
