2 Canadians Survive 48 Hours in the Marine Corps!

We lost a bet … so the Marines made us pay for it. After the USA beat Canada in the gold medal Olympic hockey game, we had one punishment: “join the Marines.” Slight issue, we’re Canadian, so that's not possible without altering our Canadian Citizenship, but somehow, we ended up at Marine Corps Officer Candidates School in Quantico, Virginia, where the Marines put us through a condensed version of their officer training program in just 48 hours. From the second we showed up, the drill instructors were in our faces. Screaming in our ears. Breaking us down. Making it very clear that being funny on the internet does not translate to surviving Marine officer training. Day 1 started with pure chaos: drill, pressure, yelling, and two Canadians immediately realizing they were not built for this. Then things turned tactical, and we had to start thinking, moving, and communicating like officer candidates. Day 2 took it even further with the obstacle course, combat course, and simulated missions where we had to lead a team through physical puzzle-like leadership reaction courses. This wasn’t a normal military video, this was two Canadians getting thrown into one of the most intense military training environments in America because we lost a hockey bet. The question is… did we actually survive it, or did the Marines break us?
