Bruce Lee ate 4 to 5 small meals per day, carefully matched his nutrition to his training demands, and built one of the most iconic physiques in history doing it. His meals were largely Cantonese-inspired, rooted in whole foods and traditional Chinese cooking — but he also ate western food regularly, including soda and McDonald's. No dogma. No rigid clean eating rules. Just purposeful eating aligned to a specific goal. As a Registered Dietitian, the biggest takeaway from Bruce Lee's nutrition isn't the specific foods he ate — it's the principle behind all of it. He ate for his goal. That's it. And it's the one thing most people following complicated modern diet plans often miss.
