We ARE NOT Machines | Remembering our Humanity in Midst of WILD Modernity
#homemaker #housewife #europe #traditional We are in the wild, wild west of modern, data-driven times. Many companies treat people like machines, forgetting that a flesh and blood, body and soul being is the one helping to move the tides of commerce. Homemakers can fall into this trap, too...of forgetting how limited we are as created beings. We are dependent, needy creatures who can neither move, nor create at the speed of intel. We weren't meant to. We were meant to recognize our God-given limits, and live joyfully through our days IN SPITE of these things. Limits keep us humble and remind us our need for the Almighty. Having been created in God's image, we can rest then, knowing that He gives to His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), along with all things pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10-12), and will therefore, He will meet our every need. We can live on in and through our limits, in order to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Now that's something machines most certainly can never do.
