After graduating from Ogori Junior High School (Yamaguchi Prefecture) and Shujitsu High School (Okayama Prefecture), he graduated with top honors from Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, Japan. Special honor received: the Yatabe Award He has studied the tuba under the tutelage of Yukihiro Ikeda, Kazuhiko Sato, and Yoichi Kondo. He studied chamber music under Mitsuru Saito, Kyohei Ando, Shiro Ide, Maro Abe, and André Henry. He has also received instruction from Øystein Baadsvik, Justin Benavidez, Roger Bobo, Matteo Magli, and David Zambon. In 2020 he performed at the 36th Yamaha Wind Instrument Rookie Concert, the 90th Yomiuri Rookie Concert, and the Reiwa 1st Year Music University Alumni Concert (Tokagakudo in the Imperial Palace East Gyoen). He received 1st place at the 48th and 50th Okayama Student Music Competition, the Silver Award at the 17th Japan Junior Percussion Instrument Competition, 3rd place at the 4th JETA Solo Competition, 5th place at the 36th Japan Percussion Instrument Competition, prize winner of the 24th Concert Marronnier. He is currently enrolled in the graduate school of Tokyo University of the Arts.
