555 PWM for Large AC Motors.
This control circuit uses a 555, MOC3021 and Triac to control a large AC motor. You could also use it to control a solder iron. The circuit needs some tweaking to reduce the output voltage on the low state. At low state the voltage is 40V and High is 120V. You could increase the wattage on the 100 ohm resistor and add a heat-sink on the triac for continuous use. Please be careful if you plan to make this. The voltage is 120V.
