KONE Elevators @ Unity Hall, WPI, Worcester, MA

Recorded on May 17, 2026 These elevators were installed new as part of Unity Hall's construction in 2021. They are workhorses, serving as a primary link connecting the upper and lower parts of campus (which was one of WPI's stated goals for the building when it opened). Even on the day I recorded this when campus was pretty quiet, these elevators were still getting fairly constant use. On regular school days these are incredibly busy. These have KSS 140 fixtures. I love the chimes on the hall indicators (heard at the beginning of the video). For some reason the voice wasn't working in one of the two cars the day I recorded these.
