How to Make Witch’s Bells
Witch's Bells are similar to windchimes, except you hand them on your door. Mine are attached to my doorknob. When I first made them, I think it was around Beltane--maybe Imbolc. Regardless, it was my first one and it was, admittedly, quite plain. You'll want to use a natural fiber yarn, so like cotton (which is what I used), bamboo, wool, hemp, etc. Just not acrylic. You can do these however you like. I chose to use 4 bells on this version, as a way to represent The Maiden, The Mother, and The Crone. The colors can be whatever you want. I chose yellow, white, tan, and blue to represent the elements (yellow is fire, white is air, tan is earth, and blue is water). My sun sign is Capricorn--which is the Sea-Goat and is an Earth sign. Water and Earth have great influences on me, and I thought it would be a good way to incorporate all of the elements into my Witch Bells. So, let me know if you make these! I'd love to see pictures. :)
