I'm back at Sonoma Raceway with NASA NorCal, chasing lap times in my 2017 Chevrolet SS aka the Australian-built VF Holden Commodore powered by a 6.2L LS3 V8. This session on May 24th delivered a new personal best lap time of 2:07, a full second faster than my previous PB, and I set it while working through traffic on track. This video is part of my ongoing series documenting the journey from NASA HPDE through time trial and eventually wheel-to-wheel racing, all in a car most people have never seen on a US track.
