We are in the middle of spooky season and that means more delightful scary horror games! There are plenty of horror games out there on steam, but not that many 4 player co-op games. The few that are there are of mixed quality, but one game that absolutely is worth the price is Devour. The game is only 5 bucks and has a very large amount of content for that price. It started with only one map, but now has been expanded to five maps in total and will get a sixth map next year. All the updates were free, so the developers are very user friendly. They added things like perks and other tweaks and overall this game is a blast with friends. The premise is simple. You and three of your buddies need to exorcise a demon by performing a ritual where you need to collect 10 key items in each map. The way you gather those items differs per map. In one map you need to collect hay in order to lure goats that you need to sacrifice while on a different map you need to find spider eggs and clean them to reveal a symbol and the location where you need to bring the egg in order to perform the ritual. Each map has a drastic different setting and the demon is also always very different. One map takes place in an old inn in Japan while another takes place in a quiet western town. The game can be quite difficult and communication and strategy are key in order to succeed. Probably the most frustrating part will be the Japanese inn level, since the hallways are so narrow that you will often get cornered or stuck. But maps like the western town are awesome and offer lots of room to move around and dodge the incoming threats.
