Stopped by FULLY ARMED Mexican Police while Fishing in Mexican Waters

Drove my boat down from San Francisco to San Diego, CA to chase some Yellowtail AKA Hamachi. Launched the boat from Shelter Island and made a run out to the Coronado Islands 17 miles away in my 12 ft boat. While fishing we had an encounter with Mexican Police armed with M16's and MP5's in Mexican waters. They checked all of our documents. Luckily we had everything. Not quite sure what would have happened if we didn't. The boat is a Whaly 370 model with a 20 HP Yamaha Long Shaft outboard motor. Been hearing about more and more of these boats popping up.
