Brocken Mountain in Germany: Winter With Snow And Ice

Brocken is the highest mountain in the Harz Mountains in Germany. In winter it changes completely into a white wonderland. Snow and ice rule this 1.141 meter high mountain with an alpine climate. Brocken has 120 snow days, which is amazing for a solitary mountain of this altitude. A visit in winter is possible on foot, but also with the Brockenbahn, a famous steam train that takes you up the mountain.
