Sugarloaf Mountain (#Maldonado) is one of Uruguay's most recognizable mountains, with its enormous cross at the top overlooking the city of Sugarloaf and #Piriápolis. In this video, we climb from the Sugarloaf Wildlife Reserve to the summit. It's a short but very steep trail. The views and the final climb inside the cross were well worth the effort. A highly recommended trek. Be careful, especially if you're traveling with children, due to the sheer cliffs and the presence of snakes.
