This detour took me through places I’d never heard of, into the quiet charm of towns like Warm Springs, where I visited Little White House, the personal retreat of Franklin D. Roosevelt. From there, I continued south to one of the most unique natural spots in the state—Radium Springs Gardens—a place that’s been on my travel bucket list for a long time.
