Counterpoint #20b - analysis of a Bach fugue
This is the second part of lesson 20 in the Applied counterpoint course. This one is unusual because we have previously covered all the technical material on fugue. Here I analyse the Bach organ fugue, BWV 547, in order to demonstrate what makes it such a wonderful piece of music. This lesson is also a foretaste of my coming new series next year, Analysis for Composers. If you find these lessons valuable, please consider contributing, at / alanbelkin .
