Lubicchi, a boy grieving the loss of his dear friend Poupelle, was about to give up on believing and waiting and try to move forward when one day he wandered into the Millennium Fortress, a different world that controls time. In this world, where clocks that no longer tick are disposed of, there was a mysterious clock tower that, despite not being broken, stopped at 11:59. The only way for Lubicchi to return to his own world is to "start this stopped clock tower"—. Lubicchi, along with his partner Mofu, investigates the mystery of the clock tower. He eventually encounters Gus, a man who has waited 100 years believing in a promise, and learns the story of Nagi, a plant that transformed into a human, and the unfulfilled promise. When Lubicchi regains his "courage to believe" once again, a miracle occurs on Halloween night.
