I moved the Cub's brake to my left hand. The Cub has a centrifugal clutch, so the left side of the handlebars is free. When using the backsteps, the kick gets caught in the rear brake, which can be a hassle, so I moved it to the handlebars. However, it works better with the foot brake. The brakes became less effective when I moved it to the handlebars, so I'll probably replace the brake shoes soon.
