2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Makes more Power than We Thought

This is the 2026 Corvette ZR1s LT7 V8, a twin turbocharged 5.5 liter V8 producing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane, with an 8,000rpm redline. While the LT7 uses Gemini architecture, everything after the crankshaft has been changed from the LT6 and most notably now features lower compression to compensate for the boost, 8 additional fuel injectors, and specialized intakes. Uniquely, the turbochargers are integrated into the exhaust manifold to reduce lag and the engine acts more like two four cylinders isolating boost to each side. The LT7 is the first twin turbocharged corvette engine and the most powerful corvette engine, with improved power efficiency and more revs than the previous ZR1. Thanks For Watching!
