Join us for the Opening Ceremony and Panel Discussion of the Community Resilience Regional Conference 2026, hosted by the Department of Emergency Management (DEM) on Wednesday, July 15 at 9:00 a.m. Held under the theme "Advancing Sustainable Community Resilience through Shared Responsibility," the opening session marks the start of the three-day regional conference, bringing together disaster management professionals, government agencies, community leaders, regional organisations, academia, and private-sector representatives to explore practical approaches to building stronger, more resilient communities. The opening ceremony will be followed by a panel discussion under the theme “Leadership in Resilience Building: Statements and experience sharing in Resilience Building”, moderated by Dr Evangeline Inniss-Springer, Director of the Disaster Risk Reduction Centre, UWI. 📽️The broadcast is provided by the Department of Emergency Management (DEM).
