The journey begins in the city of Tulungagung, East Java—a bright morning is the perfect start to an overland adventure to the Island of the Gods. The route, which passes through Blitar, Malang, Pasuruan, Probolinggo, and Situbondo, offers a diverse landscape: from green hills and vast rice paddies to the beaches of Java's north coast. After several hours of driving, we arrive at Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi. From here, cars and passengers cross by ferry to Gilimanuk, Bali. The sea, gentle breeze, and blue skies make the crossing a truly enjoyable experience. As soon as we step foot on Balinese soil, the atmosphere is immediately different—tropical air, the scent of incense from roadside temples, and the warm hospitality of the Balinese people welcome us. The journey continues to Denpasar or other tourist destinations such as Ubud, Kuta, or Canggu. The total overland journey from Tulungagung to Bali takes approximately 13–15 hours, depending on road conditions and rest periods. Although long, the fatigue is rewarded with extraordinary experiences, breathtaking views, and unforgettable memories along every kilometer. 🌅🚙✨
