Volkswagen ID.3 NEO, un facelift surprinzător

Volkswagen ID.3 NEO is the name of the Volkswagen ID.3 facelift (restyled). It is not a new generation, but a consistent facelift. Especially at the technological level and in the interior. The exterior has been discreetly modified. ID.3 NEO comes with several features that set the tone for everything an electric Volkswagen will mean from now on, namely: 🔵 Physical buttons on the steering wheel and a new design for it. The physical buttons replace the haptic buttons. 🔵 Completely new driver's dashboard, with a larger screen than before, which can display several design themes, including a retro theme, with dashboard instruments like the Golf II. 🔵 The multimedia tablet is also new, now with ID. 6.X software, based on an Android software platform (previously it was based on Linux software). The logic of the controls has been largely preserved, but the speed and design have been improved. 🔵 V2L, which means Vehicle to Load, with a power of 3.6 kW. Customers can extract electricity from the car's battery directly from the charging port. An adapter is needed that costs 200-300 Euros and is inserted into the charging port. The output is a schuko socket like we all have at home. 🔵 One Pedal Driving – the car can be driven only from the accelerator pedal. The driver can choose whether he wants this or not. So the ID.3 NEO can also be driven without the One Pedal Driving setting, if drivers do not like it. 🔵 Glossy black surfaces have been eliminated. All materials in the car, including the upholstery, are of better quality. 🔵 Physical buttons for the air conditioning system have been introduced, and the ID.3 NEO now offers a more balanced mix between physical and tactile controls. 🔵 The control block for the electric windows has also been redesigned, now with a classic four-button structure – one for each window that can be opened. Previously, Volkswagen tried an idea with two buttons that operated both the front and rear windows. 🔵 The individual armrests attached to the seats have been eliminated and a central armrest has been introduced. 🔵 The top-of-the-line audio system is signed by Harman Kardon. 🔵 The tailgate and spoiler are now painted in the body color (previously they were finished in black). The front of the car has also been restyled. 🔵 LFP batteries for the basic versions (50 kWh and 58 kWh) and NMC batteries for the top-of-the-line versions (79 kWh). 🔵 The maximum charging power for the Volkswagen ID.3 NEO with LFP batteries is 105 kW, and the versions with NMC battery can be charged with up to 183 kW. 🔵 Maximum WLTP approved range: 630 km for the ID.3 NEO with a 79 kWh battery. 🔵 The equipment lines are now called Trend, Life and Style. 🔵 Three engines are available: 125 kW (170 hp), 140 kW (190 hp) and 170 kW (231 hp). All engines feature improvements in efficiency compared to the previous engines. 🔁 The ID.3 NEO retains certain features of the original ID.3 model, such as: rear-wheel drive (RWD), head-up display (HUD), panoramic glass roof, 360-degree camera system, electrically adjustable front seats (now with massage function). Some of these features are either standard or optional (depending on the car version). 🆕 So, the ID.3 NEO represents all the best that the ID.3 offered, but also implements new solutions, in line with what customers said they wanted on this model. 💰 The starting price in Romania is from 34,000 Euros, including VAT (list price), for the Trend version, with a 50 kWh LFP battery, and rear-wheel drive with a 125 kW (170 HP) engine.
