FOBBVCAM ~ SHADOW CHASES BOLD SUB ADULT OFF FRONT PORCH! ⚔️⚠ LUNA ASSISTS DAD Big Bear Nest 7.19.26

There is no new update this morning on the eagle rescued yesterday. It is still unknown if the eagle is Jackie. Rest assured that the entire FOBBV team is diligently working to get us more information. Early this morning, Shadow is seen flying in hot to the nest with loud warning vocals as a sub adult was following him to the nest. This bold sub adult did not heed Shadow's warning and proceeded to land on the front porch. Shadow went into full defensive mode letting this intruder know it was not welcome. Luna is seen flying in hot and lands on the front porch between the sub adult and Shadow. This causes the sub adult to move to the high perch. Luna is ready to assist Shadow in defending their nest!! Shadow jumps right over Luna and he chases the sub adult out of the nest tree & out of the territory! Sandy comes flying in vocal and lands on the nest and defends the nest alongside Luna! In regular time and slomo cam 1 & cam 2 action. This sub adult has been quite aggressive around the lake and most likely is the one that both Jackie & Shadow have chased off earlier in the week. Shadow & Jackie are amazing eagle parents working hard protecting their territory and family. There are several other visiting eagles in Big Bear right now as well.
