UNCHILDING PALESTINIAN CHILDREN, Photo Exhibition & High-Level Dialogue

On 1 December 2025, Defence for Children International (DCI) co-hosted a high-level dialogue and photo exhibition at the Palais des Nations (Room XIV) entitled UNCHILDING PALESTINIAN CHILDREN. The event explored the lived experiences of Palestinian children subjected to military detention, presenting a compelling visual and narrative journey through personal testimonies, expert perspectives, and the striking photographic work of Roberto Brancolini. The event was hosted by the Permanent Mission of Colombia and Defence for Children International, with support from the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine, the Permanent Mission of South Africa, the Permanent Mission of Chile, and the Norwegian Rafto Foundation. Bringing together key voices from the international community, the dialogue shed urgent light on the ongoing genocide and child-rights crisis in Palestine. Speakers included: H.E.
