You Rambling Boys of Pleasure - Planxty, 1983
Planxty perform ‘You Rambling Boys of Pleasure’ at the National Stadium in Dublin. Folk group Planxty perform ′You Rambling Boys of Pleasure′ at the National Stadium in Dublin in August 1982. This concert was recorded by RTÉ Television and broadcast as part of the ‘Festival Folk’ series the following year. Planxty members include Dónal Lunny on keyboard, Andy Irvine on mandolin and vocals, Liam O’Flynn on whistle and Christy Moore on guitar. ‘You Rambling Boys of Pleasure’ features on the band’s 1979 album ‘After the Break’. ‘Festival Folk’ broadcast a series of concerts from the National Stadium featuring well-known folk singers and musicians. This episode of ‘Festival Folk’ was broadcast on 31 May 1983.
