Au pornt cazanele la Garnic si Padina in Banatul Montan

The locals of Padina Matei started collecting summer plums at the end of July. Each house in Pagina has its own orchard with summer plums, smaller or spread over entire hectares, and the locals have been processing the fruit for generations. There is no house where you can't find a "cartridge with summer plum brandy". The whole village, whether young or old, collects the plum harvest, which they put in wooden vessels to ferment and which, after a while, they take to the tăuică cauldron in the commune of Gârnic. There, where, at the end of August, the first "liter of brandy comes out of the copper cauldron pipe". When collecting plums, people help each other.
