Two gigs in 48 hours, a press event and a live show at the Armadillo Ranch. In this video, I walk you through how I set up PA for an outdoor press conference (complete with press box, wireless mics, and wind problems), tore everything down, reorganized my gear that same night, and turned it all around for a full band show the next day. This one covers a lot: running power through doorways, daisy chaining speakers in the dirt, setting up a press box feed for cameras, labeling your stage boxes, packing a Sprinter van efficiently, expanding a stage layout for a five-piece, forgetting your shims, stereo linking quirks on the X32, rigging lights when you'd rather not, and sound checking with a piezo kick drum pickup taped to a piece of wood.
