Kolrosing - Tattooing Wood
Kolrosing - Tattooing Wood. By Cutting a design into the surface of the wood and filling the incisions with a darker substance you are, in essence, tattooing the wood. I used coffee grounds and baking Co-co on these spoon handles and liked the result of the co-co the best. Once oil is applied over the design the "tattoo" becomes permanent. This method supposedly goes back to the Vikings and is a good way to decorate any wood working project. Web/blog: http://www.rickmayotte.com etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/SassafrasCot...
