"This talk will explore the story of a mother who has been homeschooling for 13 years. She and her family have chosen this educational and lifestyle approach, opting for homeschooling and taking charge of their children's education and academic instruction. By choosing not to send their children to school, they have found a way to strengthen their family bond and connect with the surrounding community in a practical and authentic way, demonstrating that homeschooling in Mexico is a viable reality." A Colombian architect and anthropologist who has lived with her family in Quintana Roo for 13 years, she specializes in and is passionate about history, ancient cultures, and travel. She has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her children's alternative education project: homeschooling, or family education.
